Watercolour or oil paintings of the person of your choice. The painting style is loose and impressionistic and is not meant to be exact copy of the photo.
Pictures are painted either on high quality 300gm Rough watercolour paper or on canvas normally to a size of 406mm x 305mm (12x16 inches). Pictures can either be supplied with a coloured mount or we can offer a complete framing service. An ideal original gift or mere self indulgence.
Costs: Paintings are £125 including mount and Special Delivery postage to anywhere in the UK. For overseas customers the postage costs will be extra to the painting fee. Framing costs are normally between £30 and £40 depending on choice of moulding. Special requests re size and framing can be discussed on an individual basis.
How does it work? Contact me via email with a good example of the person you want portrayed. It is important that all features are clearly visible. If you have a problem with email then you can always send hard copies through the post. All photos will be returned to the owner.
Once we agree on a pose and costs I'll get to work. When a painting is finished (three to four weeks) I will mail you a digital scan for approval. If you are happy with the result, you send me a cheque and I send you the finished painting. If you are not happy and do not wish to buy the picture, I keep it with the right to show and sell it. |
